Conservation of the Environment
We are in a unique place, surrounded by the Pedras River, and this inspires us to be as respectful as possible with nature. How do we do it?
-Renewable Energy: 85% of our energy already comes from renewable sources thanks to the solar panels we installed at the hotel and winery. Our goal is to reach 100% by 2025.
-Efficient Lighting: All our lights are LED, and we use motion sensors outdoors to avoid wasting any energy.
-Water Management: We take water conservation seriously. Additionally, we encourage our guests to help us, for example, by reusing towels during their stay.
-Sustainable Construction: We restore our mills and barns with local materials like stone and wood, respecting traditional Galician architecture.
Support for the Community
Sustainability is not only about caring for the environment, it also means caring for people. That’s why:
-We prioritize hiring local staff to generate employment in our area.
-Our breakfasts and tapas are made with local, seasonal products. And, of course, we promote the wines from our winery, Adega Entre Os Ríos, a very special and personal product.
-We encourage our guests to connect with the community by visiting our winery and exploring everything this region has to offer.
