Our History
The story of Entre os Ríos begins in 1979 in Santa Cruz de Lesón, near A Pobra do Caramiñal. Here stand the house and the Entre os Ríos Winery, with wines of their own production.
In that year, Francisco Crusat visited the area to buy a wine barrel and, while waiting for it to be filled, he decided to take a walk around the area with a good friend of his.
It was there, hidden in an unmatched natural setting, where he found a true gem: the old house of millers, with only the walls still standing. The building, situated in the middle of a river, was a vision that inspired Francisco: he imagined enjoying life in the area with his family.
That same night, Francisco returned home with a good wine, the house he had found, and an exciting project: to restore the property and fix its two mills. A dream home for him and his family, one that would represent the spirit of the Galician village house.
Francisco’s dream has taken shape over the years, evolving into the current rural house, Entre os Ríos. From crumbling walls, the restoration has brought this unique place back to life, with several rooms, spaces full of tradition, and a 40,000-square-meter estate in the heart of nature.
Entre os Ríos is a benchmark of Galician rural tourism. Since 1979, the Crusat-González family has continued to live here, sharing this great home with those who come to enjoy it and feel at home. This is our story, but also yours. We look forward to welcoming you to Entre os Ríos.
