Our story: roots steeped in tradition
The project was born from the passion of Francisco Crusat, who began making wine for his family’s personal use. Over time, his dedication gave rise to a winery now recognized under the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Viños da Terra Barbanza e Iria. Today, led by José Crusat, Adega Entre Os Ríos continues to grow, remaining true to its purpose: crafting Galician wines with a strong identity, expressing the genuine character of the Barbanza region.
The Soul of the Winery: Vineyards and Philosophy
Located on the northern shore of the Ría de Arousa, the vineyards thrive in granite and schist soils, which lend the wines a distinctive minerality typical of the Atlantic landscape. The main grape varieties are Albariño and Raposo (Branco Lexítimo), along with a few red varietals. The winery’s philosophy is rooted in respect for the environment: no herbicides or insecticides are used, and agricultural practices that encourage biodiversity are applied — making wine tourism in Galicia not only enjoyable, but also responsible.
