Its Story: Roots Steeped in Tradition
It all began with Francisco Crusat, who, driven by his love for viticulture, founded Adega Entre Os Ríos. Although his first wines were intended for personal consumption, his dedication and expertise soon gave rise to a winery that today is part of the Viños da Terra do Barbanza e Iria Protected Geographical Indication. With the incorporation of José Crusat, the winery has grown while preserving its essence—crafting Galician wines that reflect the authentic character of the Barbanza region.
The Soul of the Winery: Vineyards and Philosophy
The vineyards of Adega Entre Os Ríos stretch across the northern side of the Ría de Arousa, rooted in granite and schist soils that give their wines a distinctive minerality. The winery primarily cultivates Albariño, complemented by Treixadura, Raposo (Branco Lexítimo), and a few red varieties. Its philosophy centers on respect for the land and nature, avoiding the use of herbicides and insecticides, and embracing sustainable practices that nurture the biodiversity of the environment.
